"The staff at Queen City Transitions are amazing. Like many people who use downsizing services, the circumstances of having to downsize my parents 2700 sq ft home to a two bedroom apartment were not pleasant and my parents weren’t necessarily happy about the move. I called several companies to find someone to work with and Queen City Transitions were by far the most responsive. Sandy, Linda, and Kathy were amazingly patient during this process. They were also compassionate, efficient, and flexible about scheduling. They took what was an extremely emotional time for our family and lifted so much stress and burden off of us. I didn’t have to figure everything out on my own. Over four weeks they helped us pack the sentimental objects, sell what might have value, and give away or dispose of the rest. We honestly couldn’t have made such a smooth transition without them. They really are excellent at what they do and I highly recommend them."

"The Queen City team of workers got my mother packed quickly and moved quickly so that it went really smoothly. We didn't have a lot of time to get from one unit to the other, and they got it done.
Plus, I did use them to help with organizing my mom's drawers and closets after the move, which, when someone is downsizing, made a huge difference. My mom has moved a number of times as her condition has worsened. All with tight timeframes. It involves arranging dates with the retirement community, movers, helpers, and charities to take what she won't need, lots of calls and headaches. With Queen City, one call was all I needed. It really has been a time and emotional saver."

"I would give them 100 stars if that were an option! These ladies helped me through a very emotional time moving my Dad into Assisted Living. They helped me decide which pieces would work in his new space and made suggestions for the few things I needed to purchase. I loved that they moved with reusable tubs and paper. I didn't need to find boxes and pack. They took pictures in his house so that they could set up his new space to feel like his home. Every time I talk to my Dad he tells me how much he loves his new space with his things from his house. They made his apartment his new home. I can't thank them enough!"
